Comfort Starts With Staying Cool

Dogs seek out the coldest surface in the house when they're too warm — tile, hardwood, the bathroom floor. FrostPaw™ gives them somewhere cool that's actually soft enough to sleep on, so they settle in one place instead of moving all afternoon.

  • Cool On Contact

The fabric moves heat away from the surface as soon as they settle. No freezing, no soaking, no plugging anything in.

  • Nothing inside to chew

No gel packs, no liquid. If your dog is a chewer, there's nothing in here to puncture or swallow.

  • Stays put, wipes clean

Non-slip backing so it doesn't skid across hard floors. Sponge off mud and hair between washes.

  • Machine Washable

Toss it in on gentle, air or tumble dry low, and it's cool again and again

FrostPaw™ vs Other Mats

FAQS

How does it cool without gel or water?

Through the fabric itself. The weave pulls heat from the surface faster than cotton or polyester does, so it feels cool the moment your dog lies on it. Nothing to fill, freeze or replace. It works best in a room with some airflow — a fan or an open window helps it shed the heat it's absorbed.

We bought a cooling mat before and my dog wouldn't go near it. Why is this different?

That's the most common complaint in this whole category, and it's usually the same cause: gel mats are stiff, they crinkle, and they feel like plastic. Dogs are picky about texture. FrostPaw™ has no rigid panel inside, so it drapes and gives like a blanket. It feels like something worth lying on.

My dog chews everything. Is it safe?

There's no gel or liquid inside, so a determined chew doesn't produce anything to swallow or clean up. That said, no mat is a chew toy — if your dog destroys bedding for sport, supervise them on it the same way you would any soft furnishing.

Is it any good for thick-coated breeds?

That's who it's for. Huskies, Golden Retrievers, Newfoundlands, Samoyeds, Bernese and the double-coated crossbreeds struggle most once the house warms up. Flat-faced breeds — Frenchies, Pugs, Bulldogs — also feel the heat badly and benefit from a cool place to settle.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle, then air dry. Don't iron it and skip the fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and dulls the cooling.

    They love it!

"Fat chance our two pups ever sit next to each other haha. This is a really simple but effective mat."

    Perfect for thick-fur dogs

"My baby pug is literally the most sweaty little thing you will ever meet. Thankfully she has been able to cool down and find her new favourite spot! We love this product"

She has stopped sleeping on the kitchen floor

"My Labrador ditched several beds we had previously bought her. Admittedly took her a minute to get used to it but now she loves it and is napping a lot better now."

Much better than the gel mats

"We had bought a gel mat in the past. We did find even after storing it in the freezer that it warmed up too quickly. FrostPaw™ feels a lot softer too."
