A strange but functional item. quite large, as it needs to be. a reasonable range of jars can be opened, though odd or thin jars would not work. some quite tight lids opened ok. it does grind a bit and does not always open enough to stop operating, you have to pull it open. works better than expected, not sure on long term.

I ordered 2 devices. One of them, on its first use, didn't know what to do with itself. It opened and closed intermittently and did not fully function as it should. I was already about to complain, but after a few attempts it stabilized and even started working. However, it makes a lot of noise and does not give this device a long lifespan. Sometimes, after tightening the jar, the gears make noise and nothing happens. In general, if the teeth were made of metal, it could be recommended 100%. And because it's plastic, I don't expect it to last long.
